This is not ONLY about just the sims 3 pets, it about all sim things u could come up with.. for me xD But i really love to create new things and make stories about my sims, so every time I start to play with a new family i have to figure out their lifestyle, what did they go trough when they were kids.. how do they make the day and more ^^
I find that very intresting and it will make you feel more like you're sim and u are connected somehow.. ^^
